This is one of the most gorgeous lamps I've ever had : Tiffany-style Dragonfly Red & Purple Torchiere Lamp
The photo of this lamp looks lovely, but it's nothing compared to when you genuinely open the box and see this spectacular, stained-glass shade. It's weighty, it's solid, it's meticulously-crafted. And when you light it up it's very hard to tear your eyes away.
The foot switch in the middle of the cord, as others have mentioned, is rather illogical. It works for my situation and furniture layout, but a foot switch on the lamp's base would have been more practical to be sure.
That aside, I'm thrilled with this gorgeous lamp. Its colors would work with just about any color scheme. There is a lot of red in the middle of the shade, but I have it in a room that's in general full of shades of pale green, blue and teal, and the pale greens and blues in the lampshade seem to be accentuated due to this. Just as I'm sure a room with lavenders would bring out the bits of lavender glass in the shade and so on. I propose a 40 watt bulb - creates an even warmer glow.
I got my lamp straight through Amazon from a isolate wholesaler for about $109. As of this writing Amazon is asking an overly steep $196. Might be best to wait for them to be more cheap and put it on sale, or find it straight through a third party. Pretty doesn't have to mean "strip-mine-your-wallet".
